In 2015, our founder Ben Williams was inspired by his wife's socks to branch out from the blacks and browns of boring socks; back then, he thought argyle was a stretch. He bought his first pair of fun socks and hasn't looked back since. He founded The Sock Spot to give fellow visionaries the foot apparel that they needed to display who they really are and make their mark on the world.

We are headquartered in the sunny town of Vacaville, California, between San Francisco and Sacramento.
In July, 2019, The Sock Spot launched its first automated retail unit at San Francisco Centre. Featuring a selection of over 40 pairs of socks, these units will curate the selection to the current even and location they are found. Our hopes is to expand the locations in the near future.
